Dorothy Faye Harrison Smith Keith Dorothy Harrison Keith, 73, passed away, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 surrounded by loving family at the time of her death. A Native Texan, Dorothy was born November 30, 1941, in Thorpe Springs, Texas to Clyde and Victoria Harrison. Dorothy graduated from Granbury High School in 1959 and moved to Fort Worth where she enjoyed a 29 year long career with Ashcraft Company until 2005.

Dorothy retired to Seadrift. Survivors are daughter, Elizabeth Smith Carmichael, grandchildren, Austin, Carter and Crosby, all of Lubbock, Texas. A Memorial and Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, 11-1, at the American Town Hall in Granbury, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the Association.

James Christopher Kahrs Sr. James (Jim) Christopher Kahrs Sr. 63, of Tolar, passed away Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 at a Fort Worth hospital. Memorial Service: 3 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 28, StoneWater Church, Glen Rose Campus, 5645 N. Highway 144, Granbury. Jim was born Feb. 24, 1951 in Honesdale, Pennsylvania to the late Herman and Idabelle Eldred Kahrs.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Joseph Kahrs, John Kahrs, Fredrick Kahrs, Melvin Kahrs; sisters: Helen (Kahrs) Furman, Margaret (Kahrs) Teeple, and Elsie (Kahrs) Van Gorder. Jim owned and operated Action Plumbing of Granbury. He is survived by daughter, Christine (Kahrs) Schilb; son, James Kahrs, JR and wife Sherry (Smith) Kahrs; grandchildren: Kayla Kahrs, Coby Kahrs, Dell- hia Schilb, Mason Schilb; sisters: Pearle Overacker and Alice Phillips, both of of New York, Mary Walker of Pennsylvania; brother Frank Kahrs of Ferndale; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Davina Darice McCann Davina Darice McCann, of Granbury passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 in Granbury.

Graveside service: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24 in Acton Cemetery. Visitation: 11 to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Granbury.

Davina was born Aug. 22, 1957 in Paluxy, Mississippi. She married Michael L. McCann on Feb. 16, 2001 in Amarillo.

She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and had lived in Granbury for 14 years. She enjoyed reading and being a Mom and Grandma. She is survived by husband, Mike McCann of Granbury; children: Ashley Roberts of Granbury, Jeremy Middaugh of Palestine, Christy McCann of Breckenridge and Tia Richards of Abilene; grandchildren: Taylor, Zoe, Mia, Joey, Christopher and Clayton; brothers: Jeff Myer of Houston and Wesley Myer of Amarillo; sister: Marlene Gross of Arizona; several nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Wiley Funeral Home. Esmeralda Garza Esmeralda Garza, 51, of Granbury passed away Friday, Feb.

13, 2015 in Granbury. Celebration of life service: 3 p.m. Monday Feb 23 at Wiley Funeral Home. Esmeralda was born May 17, 1963 in Chicago Heights, Ill. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Garza and her parents, Augustine Garza and Rosa Cantu Garza.

She was a single mother and worked three jobs to raise her four kids. Esmeralda did everything with love. She was a CNA for over 20 years and loved every patient she ever took care of. Her door and heart were always open to anyone and everyone that needed her. She is survived by children: Esther and husband, Jimmy Viets, Jesse Garza, John Garza, Stephanie Garza, Tanner Nance, Meghan Nance, Channing Nance, Keaton Nance, Preston Nance and Natalie Farris; grandchildren, Nicholas Mayes, Kyle Mayes, Devin Durham, Christopher Patten, Melia Durham, Christopher Garza, Max Rodriguez, Jaden Garza, Zander Durham, Jason Durham, Ariston Garza, Vanessa Tovar, Jonathan Garza, Sadie Garza, Jesiah Downs, Memphis Garza and Jaxon Garza; sisters and brother: Mary and husband, Mike Brown, Frances and husband, Robert Garcia, Rosalinda and husband, George Ramirez, Yolanda and husband, Chris Collins, Hector and wife, Maria Garza, Rosario and husband, Jim Nowakouski, Victoria Gonzales and Engelica Garza.

Alice was born Dec. 18, 1929 in France, to George and Durand. She went to school in Aveyron, South France. Alice moved to the U.S. in 2012.

She loved music and singing and enjoyed the country life. Survivors are children: George Tasic and wife Nita, Paul Tasic and wife Chantal, Nicole Fabre and husband Serge; grandchildren: Leland Tasic, Nicola Tasic; sister, Simone; and nieces, Monique and Claudine. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at Granbury Cemetery. Patsy was born July 7, 1957, in Fort Worth, to Gerald Lynn Croff and Wanda JoAnn Hicks Croff. She lived in Granbury all her life and worked for Daffan Mechanical.

Patsy enjoyed her family, shopping, singing and all her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Justin. Survivors are son, Chad Mashaw and wife, Jill, of Granbury; 3 grandchildren; brothers: Johnny Hopson of Fort Worth, Larry Cohron of Granbury; and 4 nephews. Arrangements made by Wiley Funeral Home. Mellie Almeta Horner Grissam Meta Grissam, 89, of Granbury went to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb.

20, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family. Meta was born July 4, 1925 in Caradan to Justin and Mary Koen. She married Milton Horner on Nov. 23, 1946.

They had three children, Dorothy, Mary and Clarence. Milton and Meta enjoyed 33 years of marriage before passing in Jan. 1980. She married Dr. Garner Grissam on March 24, 1985.

Meta was a proud homemaker and owned her own beauty shop for 30 years. Her passion was spending time with her family and friends. Survivors are her children: Dorothy Eoff and husband David of Paris, Texas; Mary McCullough of Granbury; Clarence Horner and wife Teresa of Stephenville; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Nowell Hively of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Horner; husband, Dr. Garner Grissam; parents, Justin and Mary Koen; brother Clarence Albert Koen and sister Ida Mae Read.

Doyle Davis Doyle Davis, 80, of deCordova passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, in deCordova. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at Granbury Church of Christ.

Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wiley Funeral Home. Doyle was born Aug. 28, 1934, in Novice to Oscar Davis and Bonnie Mask Davis.

He married Elizabeth Lomax, June 4, 1955, in Abilene. He had lived in Granbury for the past 21 years and was a member of Granbury Church of Christ. Doyle was retired from Lockheed-Martin and the Federal Aviation Administration. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He enjoyed guitars, singing and playing golf. Preceding him in death were his parents; two-month-old son, Tommy Wayne Davis on May 6, 1964, and brother, Lynn Davis. He is survived by wife, Betty Davis of deCordova; sons: Donald Davis of Grapevine, Bobby Davis and wife, Tracy, of Granbury; grandchildren: Ryan Davis, Remington Davis, Zachary Harber, Daniel Harber; brothers: Sam Davis and wife, Brook, of Albany, Troy Davis of Abilene; sister, Dolores Stone of Cleburne; and many nieces and nephews. She married David E. Phillips, July 2, 1967, in Arlington. She had lived in Granbury since 1974. She enjoyed painting, hunting, fishing and shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Delores Houston.

She is survived by daughters: Louise Dunaway, Karen Hunstable, Deborah Rhodes and husband, David, all of Granbury; son, John D. Phillips of Arlington; grandchildren: Michael Seeton, Alan Wiethorn, Stacey Hunstable, Jamie Uselton; brother, Earl Bell; sister, Shirley Cox; and many friends. Arrangements by Wiley Funeral Home. Bernice Day Bernice Day, 92, formerly of Granbury, passed away Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 in Fort Worth.

She enjoyed cooking and took care of everyone. She is survived by children: Delmar Day and Teresa Ables; grandchildren: Jack Day, Jon Day, Jeff Day, Danya Day and Chris and Kim Ables; great- grandchildren, Jessica Stroud and Isaac Don Ables; twin brother, Earnie Privitt; special friend, Geneva Day.
