Jesse Baye (Jke) Eaton, 89, who lived on Route 3, Cranbury, were held at 1 p. m. Thursday In Martin's Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Eaton died Tuesday, May 16 at hit home, following a lengthy Illness.

He was born Oct. 5, 1883 in Hood County and lived here most of his life. He had lived In the Cleburne area at one time, and was engaged in farming. He was a member the First Baptist Church. "They called and asked if I was over 18, and I thought, someone was making a joke," said Mrs.

Huston, 69, died Sunday, May 21 at his home, of an apparent heart attack. Funeral services were conducted at die Granbury Church of Christ at 4 p. m. Tuesday with Minister Lloyd Frederick officiating. He was assisted by Minister Jim Hall.

Mr. Huston was born July 11, 1902 in Dewjtt County. He was a rancher and farmer and married to Monema Mlzell Dec. 24, 1922 In Hood County. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.

'His wife, Monema survtvei him. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Judy Mlddlebrook of Fort Worth; sons, J. W. Huston of Belton and Thurman Huston of Phoenix, six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs.

P. H. Thrash of Granbury; and a brother, Floyd Huston of Stephenvllle. Interment was In Granbury Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Martin's Home. Pallbearers were U.

m. Friday In the Chapal of Martin a Funeral Home. Mrs. Henslee was bom Feb. 4, 1877 In Hood County and had been a lifelong resident here.

She was the daughter of Bart and Serella (Hill) Zachary and was married to Henry W. Henslee July 5, 1896. Mr, Henslee died In 1967. She was member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors Include Mrs.

Nona Moran and Mri, Clenn Porter of Cranbury, Mrs. Phoebe Moore, Mrt. Alton Newman, and Mrt. L. R.

Purselley, all of Fort Worth and Mrs. C. Butchee of Lames 29 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren and nide great-greatgrandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Josephine Turner of Stockton, and Mrs. Maggie McK night of Wichita Falls.

The Rev. Al Strlcklln officiated at the funeral services, assisted by Lloyd Frederick, minister. Interment was in Cranbury Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Martin's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Darrell Porter, Melvin Purselley, Hubert Moran, Duward Henslee, Cody Newman and Francis Moore, Mrs. Lillie Morrison Mrs.

Ullle May Morrison, 78, of Whlttier, Calif, died May 22 In a convalescent nursing hospital. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Vera Sellers of Ft. Worth, Mrs. Julia Vonhugel and Mrs.

Edith Sage of Whlttier, three sons, Char lei Morrison of Sulphur Springs, Edward Morrison and J. T. Lack of Whlttier, sisters, Mrs. Claud Wallace of Fort Worth, and Mrt. Virgil Aiken of Klngtville; brothers, E.

Price of Cranbury, Lawrence Price of Clarendon, and Jim Hood Price of Plalnvitw; 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren, i She wat a member of the Church of Christ and was born and reared In Hood County. Thuraday (today) In the Pari Ho Baptist Church. Mr. Richards died Tuesday In Sunset Nursing Home in Stephenvllle. Born Jan. 11, 1900 In Alabama, he came to Texas at the age of four.

Tom Holmes charged Wednesday. Holmes, who led Creighton in the hotly contested senate race which pits the two men in the runoff June 3, blasted Creighton and accused him of a assassination attempt" on him in the timing of the Travis County grand jury investigation which he said was Instigated by his opponent Creighton could not be reached for a reply to the accusation this morning, but a spokesman from his office said Creighton would have no comment on the statement. Holmes also said Creighton had checked out more than $2,900 in stamps between January 1971 and March 1972 "but there has been no investigation of him or his secretaries on the state payroll." Holmes claimed Creighton had used $22,655 in contingent expense money over the years to pay the salary of Mrs. Dorothy Winston in Creighton's Mineral Wells law office, and $3,910 in tax money to pay Mrs. B.
