Russell, Lipan vocational teacher, stressed the importance of conserving the land through the cooperation with the soil conservation district. The Hood-Parker Soil Conservation District organization and program discussed-in detail by Clyde Wells, while LeRoy Coppedge outlined all parts of a pedge, and Geer, Soil Conservation Service technicians of the Granbury Work Unit, assisted with the meeting.

Don Smith, party chief with the Soil Conservation Service, began soils mapping in the Mambrino and Lipan areas this week: District Supervisors R. W. Sinv mans and Ben Clifton were in Weatherford Monday of this week to attend the "Hood-Parker Soil Conservation District Supervisors' meeting. An account of the meeting will he released next week.
