Mary Buxton was the winner in skip bo; Bill Buxton took the top honors in horseshoes; and visitor Joe Mathis was the champion in washers. losers of the horseshoes didn't seem to have much sympathy for Bill Buxton and his sore arm.

Some of us would have liked to gone into Jacksboro for a meal of rattlesnake but time did not allow. A covered dish dinner was held evening followed by favorite games and lots of visiting. Later several walked across the road to watch and participate in square dancing held by the therford Whirlers. Devotion was given by Curtis Key with several attending and staying for pot luck. Everyone agrees hosts and hostesses Bill and Myrtle Burton, Will and Peggy Humphreys and Buck and Maidel McCullough did a good job.
