Margie L. Johnson Carpenter The sister and grandmother of three Granbury men, Margie L. "Granny" Johnson Carpen The U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War married Joyce Williams Dec.

5, 1998 in Corsicana. His parents and first wife, Juanita Burns Williams preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Williams of Kingsland and her extended family as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends; brother, Hobert Williams of Granbury: cousin, Margaret Armstrong of Ft. Worth, and best friend, Don Nicholson of Angleton. 8, 2008 in Llano.

No services are planned. The retired purchasing agent for Dow Chemical Co, moved to Kingsland in July 2007 from Corsicana. Graveside service was held Friday, Jan 4, 2008 at the Post Oak Cemetery in Somervell County. Mrs. Harkins was born May 24, 1928, in Cresson, to Omer and Vina Roberts Mullen. She married Horace Harkins, July 11, 1942, in Glen Rose. She had lived in the Hill City area since 1942 and worked for Wal-Mart.

Survivors are daughters, Johnnie Crow and husband, David, of Cleburne, Janet Carter and Joan Harkins, both of Tolar; son, Steve Harkins of Stephenville; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Irene York of Blum; and several nieces and nephews. Final arrangements by Wiley Funeral Home of Glen Rose. Randolph M. Jackson Randolph Morton Jackson, 93, a retired attorney, of Granbury, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008 in Granbury.

Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Friday at Acton United Methodist Church. Burial was in Acton Cemetery. nephews and nieces; and stepchildren, Sue Neuhoff and George Siddons. Final arrangements by Martin's Funeral Home of Granbury.

Jean Johnson (Dorr) Jean Johnson (Dorr), 68, died Jan. 10, 2008 at her home in Granbury, with her family by her side. Jean was born in Oct. 1939, in Hawthorne, Calif. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by Joan Lorraine Landry (Dorr), her twin sister in 2001, Evelyn Dorr (stepmother), James Dorr (father), Genevieve Graves (mother). She is survived by her husband, Larry Johnson of Granbury; one son, Claude Johnson and wife, Sue, and their daughters, Lauren and Kasey, of Coppell; two daughters, Rene' Cook and husband, Mike, and their daughter Annie of Rockwall, and Carrie Kline and her husband, Frank, and their children Luke and Hannah of Liberty Hill; three sisters also survive her, Shirley Nausler, of San Diego, Maggie Garland of Brown wood, Trudy Cash of Brownwood; a brother Don Dorr of San Diego, and many other loving family members. Visiting hours were Friday, Jan. 1 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Vergie Gosnell Prickett Vergie Gosnell Prickett, 85, of Cisco, stepmother of Frances Blair of Granbury, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, in Brownwood. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel in Cisco. Burial was in the Corinth Cemetery. She was born Oct.

29, 1922 in Quail. She married Loyd Preston Gosnell in Wellington Dec. 13, 1941. After moving to Cisco in 1946 Loyd died in 1953. She married John Prickett in 1973 and he died in 1979.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Cisco. Other survivors are a son and spouse, Don and Debbie Gosnell; and numerous grandchildren, stepchildren and step grandchildren. Peyton Randolph Peyton Randolph, 70, of Granbury, an electrician, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, in Granbury. Funeral service was Friday at the Holly Hills Mausoleum Chapel in Granbury.

Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Randolph was born July 10, 1937, in Abilene, He married Barbara James, Nov. 8, 2002, in Granbury. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his wife, Barbara Randolph of Granbury; daughter, Kim Lovell of Keller; sons, Scott Randolph of Abilene, Mark Randolph of Burleson, Perry Randolph of Keller; seven grandchildren; sister, Sandra Alston of Dallas; step-children, Terre Bean of Arlington, Timothy Adams of Mineral Wells; a niece and nephew.

Burial was in the Cross Ranch Cemetery. She was the sister of Charles Ingram, and grandmother of Clay and Clint Johnson, all of Granbury. The native of Quanah was born May 7, 1934. She attended Aspermont schools and had lived in Garza County 50 years. She married Cecil Johnson Jan.

7, 1951 and Wayne Carpenter Oct. 6, 1985. Johnson died Nov. 12, 1984, and Carpenter died Jan. 10, 2003.

Other survivors include a large extended family. Mason Pierce Frye Funeral services for Mason Pierce Frye, 19, of Nemo, were held Thursday, Jan. 10, 2007 at the Rainbow Baptist Church. Burial was Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Frye passed away Sunday, Jan.

6, 2008, in Nemo, from a hunting accident. Frye was born June 26, 1988, in Fort Worth, to Michael and Pamela Wilcox Frye. He was a 2007 graduate of Glen Rose High School and was attending Blinn Junior College in Bryan. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of Troop 148 in Granbury. While in high school, he was a member of the 4-H technical team and received a 4-H gold star award.

He lettered in golf while in school and he loved hunting, fishing and camping. Preceding him in death were a brother, Marshall Neal Frye in 1994, and grandparents, Harry and Anne Wilcox.
