GHS Principal Jeremy Ross welcomed the students and provided them with an overview on what to expect when they reach the high school. The visit included a school tour conducted by Post-Secondary Programs Coordinator Victor Sauceda. The Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas (CREST) program began in 2005 to recognize schools that have demonstrated a commitment using the school guidance and counseling program to improve the lives and achievement of students in academic, career and personal social domains. CREST is a continuous improvement document that gives a school counseling program an opportunity to demonstrate effective communication and a commitment to getting results.
