Wednesday, May 16, 2012 www.hcnews.com Mobile Pantry distributing fresh food Saturday morning The Mobile Food Pantry will be at the Granbury First United Methodist Church distribution site Saturday, May 19 from a.m. Fresh food distribution through the Tarrant Area Food Bank's Mobile Pantry takes place on the third Saturday each month at Granbury FUMC, 301 Loop 567. The mobile pantry provides fresh produce and meat that is often not available weekly at the community food pantries in Hood County. Local organizations working together to coordinate the mobile pantry distribution include Loaves and Fishes at Lakeside Baptist Church, Granbury United Methodist Church, Christian Service Center at the Church of Christ, Mission Granbury, Joseph's Locker, God's Storehouse at International House of Prayer, Stone Water Church and Generations Church. HELP WITH HARVEST Project-44 Farmneeds volunteers to help harvest and care for crops.

The farm produced over 15,000 pounds of produce last year the largest portion went directly to hungry and needy families in Granbury through local food pantries. There was a great spirit of revival at the Sunday services, and all expected a great meeting of this first session of the new association.
