Pearl St. Granbury Special Bereavement Accommodations and Rates Available Elda Mary Castro Elda Mary Castro, one-day- old, daughter of Julian and Maria Hernandez Castro of Granbury, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2007, in Granbury. Graveside service was Friday at Holly Hills Memorial Park. Survivors are her parents; brother, Albert Matthew Castro; grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Final arrangements by Wiley Funeral Home. Joy Mullens Conder Funeral services for Joy Mullens Conder, 92, of Granbury, were held Tuesday, June 26, 2007 in Paris. Burial was in Long Cemetery in Powderly. The native of Powderly was born May 25, 1915. She died Saturday, June 23, 2007 in Glen Rose.

The graduate of Paris High School earned a teaching certificate at Paris Junior College. She married Lowell B. Conder May 2, 1936. He died May 12, 2002. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.

Survivors are her son and wife, Lowell R. and Wanda Conder of Granbury; four grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. Four sisters and four brothers preceded her in death. Halstead Thomas Futrell Halstead Thomas Futrell, 74, CMSGT U.S. Air Force passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007, in deCordova.

Graveside service was Fri- day, June 29, 2007, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Futrell was born July 10, 1932, in Woodland, N.C., to Marvin and Jimmie McLawhorn Futrell. He married Patricia Sue Furlong in October 1982 in Dover, Del. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; one sister; and his wife, Patricia Sue Futrell on March 19, 2004. Survivors are a son, David Futrell of deCordova; daughters, Jo Ann Brickley and husband, David, of Middlebury, Brandy Johnson and husband, Robert, of Benbrook, Patricia Futrell of Herndon, and four grandchildren.

Final arrangements by Wiley Funeral Home. Mary Frances Potter Kilchenstein A private memorial service was held for Mary Frances Potter Kilchenstein, 85, at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007 in the chapel at Heritage Place Retirement Community in Burleson. Mrs. Kilchenstein, a former Granbury resident, went to join her heavenly father on Friday, June 22, 2007 after a brief stay at a local hospital.

Memorials: Methodist Home in Waco, American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice. Mrs. Kilchenstein was born March 27, 1922 in Sadalia, Mo. She and her family moved to Fort Worth when she was 10. Mary attended Paschal High School in Fort Worth and graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Her first job was with the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce in the publicity department. Mary met her husband of 49 years, Joe, in 1945, while filling in for a vacationing secretary. Mary was a Sunday School class teacher for high school students and very active in the United Methodist Circle in the First United Methodist Church of Midlothian. She was also very active in the local community home demonstration club. hobbies included cross-stitching, quilting, sewing, reading and walking.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and for her caring disposition and unconditional love to many throughout the years. Mary will be greatly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joe. Survivors include sons, Edward and Robert; daughter and son-in- law, Julia and Doc Hemberger; granddaughter Lindsey; great granddaughter Kailynn; and several nieces and nephews. Joseph J.

Laljer Joseph J. Laljer, 75, of Granbury, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007, in Granbury. Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2007 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

Burial is at 2 p.m. Monday at Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday with Rosary service at 7 p.m. Memorials to Pecan Plantation Fire Department, Rehab 89, 9518 Monticello Drive, Granbury, Texas 76049.

Laljer was born June 10, 1932 in Long Island, N.Y. He married Betty Jane Lakin, April 12, 1959, in Hancock, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and worked in customer service for Eastern Airlines for 33 years. He had been a resident of Granbury since January of 2001.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Volk Laljer; and a sister, Theresa Schmidt. Survivors are his wife, Betty Jane Laljer of Granbury; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph E. and Ann M. Laljer of Flower Mound, Charles E. and Cyndi Laljer of San Antonio, James M.

and Joann Laljer of Austin; and four grandchildren. Final arrangements by Wiley Funeral Home. William Keith Malone William Keith Malone, 57, of Granbury, has gone to meet his Lord and Savior, Sunday, June 24, 2007. Memorial service was at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wiley Funeral Home.

Memorials to American Cancer Society. Mr. Malone was born August 4, 1949, in Freeport to William and Bobbye Barrow Malone. He married Frances Holmesly, June 1, 1973, in Brownsville. He served in the U.S.

Army and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Granbury. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his wife, Frances Malone of Granbury; daughter, Kelly Smithwick Morrow of Stephenville; son Richard Lee Malone of Pearland; five grandchildren; brothers, Charles Duane Malone of Granbury, Michael Kevin Malone of Fort Worth; sister, Phyllis Diane Malone of Hawkins, several nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Wiley Funeral Home was in charge of final arrangements. Paul Jeffrey McAda Funeral services for Paul Jeffrey McAda, 50, of Brady were held Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at New Song Christian Fellowship in Brady.

Burial was in the Cowboy Cemetery in Brady. McAda died Saturday, June 23, 2007. Among the survivors are a child, Jordan Fisher, of Granbury, three other children, his wife, parents, a brother, and three sisters. Harold D. McCullough Harold D.

McCullough, 84, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2007, in Granbury. Memorial service was Thursday at Bryan First Bap- tist Church. McCullough was born Feb. 28, 1923, in DuQuoin, to Herbert and Mae Foster McCullough. He married Janell Jackson, Jan.

22, 1946, in Waco. Harold was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bryan, where he served as deacon and deacon chairman and was the junior high youth group leader. He was a former presiden of the Bryan Lions Club and served as a speaker for T.A.N.E. (Texas Alcohol Narcotics Education). He was interim pasto at Providence Baptist Church in Providence.

He was an avid golfer. Harold served as a flight officer during World War II in the Canadian Air Force, the British Air Force and in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Survivors are daughters, Sharon Morris and husband, Philip, of Granbury, Cindy Whitley of Arlington; son, Michael McCullough and wife, Sarah, of Fresno, five grandchildren; one grea grandchild; and a sister, Jeanne Trumble of Valley View. Wiley Funeral Home was in charge of final arrangements.
