The award-winning finance professionals include director Wayne McKethan, Becky Price and Eva Gregory.

The City Council plans some sweeping changes around town, including road extensions at Crawford Street and Plaza Drive, Highway 377 widening in partnership with TxDOT, and more parking on the square. projects will be very good for Granbury, and for the Southern said. The council earlier this month met in a special session, approving expenditures that would be funded by property tax and sales tax and in some cases, cooperative agreements with the county and state. The total 27 projects at an estimated $115 million will not require an increase in the property tax rate, Southern said. values increased $171 million this he said.

The new parking space would be constructed with deep piers to allow up to three floors of parking. would like to see a limestone and red brick parking building, he said. could start out with a regular parking lot and then add on Other parking space could be garnered where the old medical complex and costume shop sit, Southern suggested. Another project involves the culvert on Moore Street getting reconstructed for better safety during high rains. Another project is a band shell in Shanley Park.

Elsewhere in town, Crawford Road is planned for extension to the Old Cleburne Road (called Edge on the south side of Highway 377 East). Plaza Drive, likewise, would be extended to the old Highway 4. would provide relief routes for the extra Southern said. bond will do three times the number of streets we did in our last bond three years Southern said.
